The Return Of Wedding Magic

Is This The Return of Wedding Magic?

We now have a provisional date of June 21st as the day when we’ll be able to return to a more normal life, unrestricted by social distancing measures. Although this is by no means set in stone and, indeed, could well be put back again depending on how things go in the intervening months, it offers happy couples a ray of hope that they can finally revisit their wedding plans. And that includes the return of wedding magic by hiring a wedding magician.

If your wedding plans are about to hit ‘full steam ahead’, then it’s time to start booking. With so many people’s plans being put on hold over the past year, it’s likely that wedding venues, caterers, DJs, and entertainers will get booked up very quickly. This means that the sooner you decide what you want your wedding to be like, the sooner you can confirm everything.

No contact magic

It will take a while for us all to get used to a world where we can once again get close to people outside our immediate household without a niggling feeling that something’s not quite right. If you know you’ll have wedding guests who might still be a bit nervous about social distancing, especially in the first few months of our ‘new normal’, you may think that hiring a close-up magician isn’t such a good idea. But don’t worry; there is a solution. Last summer, I developed my Parlour of Mystery specifically to provide non-contact close-up magic for small, socially distant groups. Guests enjoyed the same entertaining magic, but in a more structured environment that kept everyone safe.

Close up magic

I can’t wait to get back to doing what I do best—close-up magic. Weddings are a great occasion to hire a magician because magic is one of those forms of entertainment that will be popular with people of all ages. On your special day, it’s likely that you’ll want to please everybody to ensure that they remember your wedding fondly for many years to come, so choosing how to entertain a large group of people who will have such different tastes isn’t an easy task.

“There was a real buzz in the air when Christopher was performing. The cheers and laughter could be heard for miles”

A wedding magician is a great solution because seeing magic tricks happen in front of your very eyes is entertaining for some, mind-blowing for others, a puzzle that needs to be solved, or an intricate and clever art form for the rest. That means everyone gets something different from the same tricks I perform for them, and everyone appreciates the entertainment in their own way. Need any more convincing? Read my testimonials and check out my gallery of photos and videos to see how much happy couples and their guests have enjoyed my performances. Get in touch!
