Activities for kids at half-term … book a magic lesson!

Kids of all ages are especially intrigued by magic, whether they’re watching someone else doing it, or learning to do it themselves. And with half-term on the horizon, what better way of keeping the kids busy than booking a magic lesson for them.

Technology has allowed us to create wonderful, magical worlds where literally anything can happen. But watching something that’s been created by a special effects department has nothing on watching proper magic happening live before your very eyes!

Imagine what it would be like to be the person who’s the cause of so much astonishment and excitement.

The amazed reactions of my audiences and the excitement created when they can’t believe their eyes are what makes my job such a pleasure, and renders all the hours I have to spend practising my craft worthwhile.

Magic lessons for individuals

If you’re looking for a birthday present and don’t want to go down the usual route of the latest gadget, games/film/music whether online or off, gift vouchers, books or socks. A magic lesson will really hit the spot. It’s the sort of experience day activity where the results will last a lifetime, and impress your friends far more than showing them a photo of you driving a tank or super car or even plane.

Magic lessons for groups of children

Maybe you’re looking for an activity that the whole family or group of friends can enjoy. If the kids are 8 or older you could be implanting a new enthusiasm which could lead to them eventually becoming the next Dynamo, David Copperfield… or Chris Whitelock!

Magic as a team building activity for big kids!

Team building days can be great fun, but they are associated with outdoor activities which usually involve getting drenched, cold and tired. My corporate magic lessons are always indoors(!) and are a great way of getting your team of big kids to bond over learning new activities!

Don’t wait for someone else to buy you a magic lesson

Sometimes people simply won’t take the hint, and however many casual references you drop into the conversation about wanting to learn some magic tricks, you still end up with a last-minute scarf. Don’t wait till next year – treat yourself, your kids and friends now!

If your kids fancy learning a few magic tricks this half-term so they amaze their school friends, then this is a perfect activity. Or you’d like to give someone a birthday present that’ll last a lifetime, or organise a fantastically instructive team-building event.

Either way, magic is a great and unique way to excite your children or simply give someone who already has everything they need, something special. You can call me on 07747 141 238 or fill out a quick contact form and I’ll get back in touch.
