Thrilled to be asked to perform party magic for TV

I’m delighted to have been asked to fit the filming of a new TV show into my already busy Christmas party diary this year!  Invited by Champneys, the world-famous spa hotel group, I’m going to be entertaining their staff at the Champneys Christmas party which will be filmed as part of a new fly-on-the-wall documentary due to air on ITV next year.

As many of you know TV, stage and celebrity is nothing new to me, it’s not that long ago that I was asked to advise the Royal Shakespeare Company on magic stagecraft. And you’ll see on my magician home page that I keep adding to a string of endorsements and testimonials from famous names like Jeremy Clarkson, Chris Evans and, most recently, Sir Paul McCartney – for whom I entertained at his own house party in London.

I might be name dropping here but regardless of who might be in the audience everyone experiences the same magical entertainment and at this time of year it’s just great to add a little bit of extra sparkle to any festive occasion – large or small, at a public venue or at your home.

The Champneys team will enjoy my unique Christmas party programme which I will be performing at many other venues throughout Hertfordshire this year. I’m always happy to take bookings for Christmas party events because they are great fun and clearly, with a TV crew present, the Champneys party will be extra special. I’ll let you know how it goes in another blog.

If you’ve got a Christmas party coming up and would like me to add some of my party magic to your event then simply email me or call me on 07747 141 238. As soon as I’m able to release the name of the TV show and when it’s on I’ll let you know – follow me on Twitter @chrisgwhitelock to be one of the first to find out!
