The Parlour of Mystery – my exciting new no-contact wedding magic show

Over the past few months, the world has been plagued with uncertainty and enforced lockdowns. Leading many couples to reconsider their dream weddings. Those whose weddings were scheduled for March, April, or May have either canceled or rescheduled their big day for next year. However, couples with weddings planned for later this year remain optimistic that their special day will proceed. Albeit with a smaller guest list. As lockdown restrictions in the UK are gradually lifted and registry offices are once again able to open.

Something new

For those clients who have booked me as a wedding magician for their special day this year, there is no need to cancel or postpone. And for couples looking for some magic at their wedding next year and beyond. I am absolutely thrilled to be able to offer a unique, fun and exciting new form of wedding entertainment that will have guests talking about it for years to come. And which follows all of the social distancing guidelines protecting you and your guests throughout.

I have created a completely different form of live entertainment that doesn’t require the traditional close-up mix and mingle entertainment you would have had at a wedding but still captures audience attention and creates the wow factor you want to keep them guessing!

Wedding show with a new twist

All you need to have at your wedding venue is a room or area set aside that up to six guests can be invited into. This is the Parlour of Mystery where I will perform my contemporary mix of mind-reading, incredible sleight of hand, digital magic and so much more. The show typically lasts between 8 and 12 minutes and your guests will experience a real magic show without all the traditional interruptions and distractions such as guests joining the group halfway through, waiters wanting to clear away drinks and announcements being made. Everyone gets a unique experience

The concept of having your guests going into another room to watch a show is so much more exciting and thrilling. Every show performed is different so all of your guests will witness and experience a show like no other and which will have them talking about it for the rest of the day. This creates a really exciting atmosphere for the wedding and will have all of your guests wanting to know what’s happening in The Parlour of Mystery!

Keeping you and your guests safe

The best thing of all? This fun and exciting entertainment performance complies with the current COVID–19 regulations as all guests will be 2 metres apart and numbers limited inside the Parlour of Mystery to fit the size of the room. There is no physical contact between your guests and me but as always, I will make sure there is plenty of verbal audience participation to ensure that they feel part of the whole show experience.
