Spring Wedding Magician

Spring Wedding Magician

Spring is a great time for a wedding. It is a season that’s full of renewal and hope, and the spring flowers and blossoms can give you some excellent photo opportunities.

I’ve performed at many spring weddings and really like it when spring colours are incorporated into the decorations – the pastel pinks and whites of blossom, the brightness of daffodil yellow and tulip red. During the wedding season I am regularly invited to attend many weddings. This is because not only are people looking for an entertainer, but they’re also looking for someone who knows the venues and won’t get in the way on your day. The last thing you want to do on your special day is tender to the needs of your suppliers.

Spring Wedding

A venue with beautiful grounds or gardens is a must

If you’re lucky enough to get a mild, sunny day, you can make the most of them, and your guests will love the chance to be outdoors – especially if they have a glass of bubbly in their hands! This is why the nature of a magician in Spring comes in handy. If you’re hiring out a venue with a large outdoor area, I can move from group to group whereas we a lot of traditional entertainment, they are static to one area and can’t approach guests to bring the fun to the party.

In addition to an old oak barn and a hall, Vaulty Manor has a terrace that guests can use if there is enough spring heat and sunshine to enjoy. Blake Hall has two barns available for spring weddings and also has a terrace guests can use in case of good weather. If it’s classic grandeur you’re after, you’ll do no better than Moor Park, which has an orangery where you can make the most of the light and the views of the gardens, but from the warmth of indoors! And I’m often asked to perform for weddings at Hatfield House, a stunning stately home setting with access to the grounds and formal gardens.

Whatever the forecast, it’s always a good idea to have ‘just in case’ umbrellas and wellingtons available by the door in case you or your guests do want to go outside. And yes, wedding wellies are a thing!

The Magic of the Season

It goes without saying that spring is a very magical time of year. After hiding away all winter, plants and flowers start appearing, giving life a celebratory feeling, and love is definitely in the air for both humans as well as the birds and bees! And everyone is in the mood to look forward to wonderful things to come which, in that sense, makes it a perfect time of year to get married.
