CAMRA stands for The Campaign for Real Ale and was founded in 1971, across 200 branches they have been working hard to campaign for real ale, pubs & drinkers’ rights.
Each year they hold an Awards lunch including the coveted ‘Champion Beer of Britain’ award. The ceremony is a great opportunity to celebrate all of the successes over the past year from breweries and licences.
There will be a chance to sample all of the best quality beers entering the competition as well as a delicious four course lunch and the chance to see Chris perform his unique magic (and not just see him drinking beer!).
The CAMRA’s Award lunch takes place at Kettering Park Shire Hotel and Spa in Northamptonshire on Saturday 25th October. You can find more information about the event and tickets here.
Chris Whitelock will be performing at the event promising to wow you with his vibrant spin on the classic art of magic. Stuart Bateman will also be at this year’s CAMRA Awards Lunch who will talk about his history in brewing with his 4th generation brewery, Bateman’s Brewery.
