I have put together a selection of helpful answers to frequently asked questions that seem to come up time and time again. Hopefully, you can find the answer to what you’re looking for here, however, if there is anything else that I have not covered, then please contact me today & I will be happy to help.

How long have you been a magician?

I have been a full-time professional magician for over 15 years.

What celebrities have you performed magic for?

I have been privileged to perform for many celebrities over the course of my carer including. Sir Paul McCartney, Stephen Fry, Hugh Grant, Rod Stuart.

What makes you different from other magicians?

Being a magician is my full-time job that means I live and breathe magic. I am constantly creating and designing magic not just to perform at events but also for film, theatre and television. This means you will witness magic that no other magician has ever performed.

How far do you travel?

I regularly perform all over the UK and internationally so distance is not an issue. I am happy to travel any distance to be a part of your special day proving the magical entertainment.

Are your tricks suitable for everyone, or children or adults only?

Yes, the magic I perform will wow audiences from the ages of 4 to 104.

Can I see any videos of you in action?

Yes, of course, view my gallery where you will see me performing at various events including weddings parties and corporate events. I also have lots of videos on Facebook and on YouTube. You will see me performing a verity of magic at weddings, parties and corporate events. You can even take part in my interactive magic tricks.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes I do. I am a member of Equity which insures my act. All fully licenced venues require performers to have public liability insurance.

Is there a maximum number of guests you can manage on the day?

Typically Within a two hour period, I can perform to around 120 people. The greater number of guests at your event the longer I will need to perform to them all without missing anyone out.

What type of magic is best for my event? Table & Close Up, Cabaret?

The requirements for your event and what you’re looking for is unique to you, so it is best to give me a call and we can discuss what will work best for your event. From my years of experience, I can then inform you what type of magic will work best.

What makes you an international magician?

Travelling around the world I have had the privilege of performing at events in Russia, Kenya, Singapore, America, Dubai, Spain, Switzerland as well as across the whole of the UK. My job takes me too many exciting places around the world.

How long will you perform for on the day?

I will perform for as long as you require me to. I will discuss with you the best times for magic and find out some other information. I will then inform you of the perfect duration of performed that will work for your event.

If you have 80 guests attending I will need more than an hour to entertain everyone.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Bookings should be made 12 weeks to 18 months in advance. The earlier you book, the more likely I will be free on your chosen date, so what are you waiting for?

How much does it cost to hire a magician?

The price will depend on a number of factors such as date, number of guests attending, location, duration of the performance, type of performance required for the event. You can expect to pay £300+ for a full-time professional magician with celebrity clientele and lots of great reviews. If you break that down, it’s probably the equivalent of £3–£7 per person (depending on the number of guest attending).

How do I book you for our event?

Fill out this handy contact form to discuss your requirements for your event. If you would like to book my services I will then send you a booking contract to be filled in, signed and returned. A copy of my terms and conditions and an invoice with payment details on.

How does the booking process work?

  1. Get in contact to check availability
  2. Choose your perfect package for your event.
  3. Contact Chris to proceed with the booking.
  4. A booking form will be emailed to you to fill in and return
  5. An invoice will be sent for a payment of 20% of the total fee to secure the booking.
  6. Once payment has been received and the completed booking form returned an email will be sent confirming your booking.
  7. Final payment due 30 days prior to event.
  8. Finalise details for your event.

For all events booked less than 30 days in advance full payment is required to secure the booking.

All professional fully insured magicians will issue you with an invoice and booking form with terms and conditions.

Do you perform magic for private parties as well?

Do you offer magic lessons that I can buy for my partner?

Yes, I do offer magic lessons and you can purchase a gift voucher that you can give to your partner. Then they can arrange the lesson at a convenient time and date.
