The Hitchin Priory is surrounded by 19 acres of beautiful rolling countryside situated on the River Hiz, giving you an ideal backdrop for your wedding photographs. It really is a premier venue for any wedding or event with a historical background too. Dating all the way back to 1317 the venue was frequented by Henry VIII. A lot of the original features still remain there for you to see including original beams, grand fireplaces and cloisters.

With 52 comfortable bedrooms and multiple ceremony rooms for you to choose from The Hitchin Priory can cater for a wedding from 5 to 200 guests so is perfect for any wedding. Throughout the summer you can hire the stunning marquee positioned in the parkland to cater for up to 200 guests for a seated wedding breakfast.

Christopher performed some close up mix and mingle magic at Chantal and Marks big day in Hitchin on 9th January. Performing to their 50 guests and keeping them entertained and happy was his main aim. Close up magic can be a fun and exciting way to ensure that all of the guests are bought together and having a good time.
